About Us
The Children’s Place is a laboratory preschool which allows high school students to develop their teaching skills and help toddlers to build cognitive, academic and social/emotional skills that will set a strong foundation for kindergarten. This program is a significant part of Introduction to Early Childhood & Early Childhood Careers and Education courses at Conard. The program is held in a room that is designed specifically for childcare with easy access to an outdoor courtyard and complete with a playground! If parents are interested, they have the opportunity to view preschool sessions in an observation room.
